It's Closure-O-Rama Percy123: So I waited almost 5 yrs to get my closure. No news for all that time, no call. The flood gates opened and they are gushing! Toady I get a call from a bud. He takes the new guys name and runs in some devious software. Lived with Mama until shacking up with my ex. Holy cow! News from front: 3 dudes talking, she walks by.....One says "I remember when she was hot"...looks like she is skinny as hell with blackend eyes. Means one thing...breaking down super unhappy. I know her like myself and seen it first hand several times. I guess being married 8 months after divorce is not agreeing with her. I went from vsions of her happliy married with child to the current reality of trapped and coming apart with no place to run. The normal running and hide response won't work this time due to family business, child and our divorce just a while back. But today is different. I am not gloating or happy for her saddness. It just makes me happy to be not on the dance card for this one and to know the marriage wasn't my fault. I left with my dignity, self respect and the respect of other. Clean. Free to choose my path. She has to sit in the poo this time.
Re: It's Closure-O-Rama Percy123: On some level it is important. The nature of the end for me was bad....No communication, cut off. Sudden.......I guess in the end it doesn't really matter what she thinks or feels it matters how I feel and what I think. I guess I was in pain for so long, and she mattered so much to me that I want to feel like I mattered too. Even though I would never be with her it a liilte reret would hurt my bruised ego! And no, I do not think she understands it to the level I do. I do not think she is introspective at all.
