Re: I thought I had it bad alonewith2: PA law states that any children born into the marriage are automatically the responsibility of the husband and wife....even if proven later the husband isn't the biological father.  I never quite understood that law either.  Many people have gotten screwed by it.

Re: I thought I had it bad Spike: Thats absolutely ridiculous!!! Why should a man pay for a child that was concieved by his cheating wife? What kind of society condones that? That is saying, "Go on, f*ck her, as long as she is married, you won't have to pay for the kid." F*ck that.
Re: I thought I had it bad crushedman: Spike-

Re: I thought I had it bad poppy: but the law also protects him, in the event that he actually raised this child as his son and loves him.  since the child was born within the legal marriage and the husband acknowledged that the child was his (whether or not he knew of the circumstances), he has full legal right to him as if he fathered the child.

if he wants to disown the child now after raising him to get out of child support, the child is better off without him.

what is wrong with people?
