Re: Does anyone else...? Percy123: Someday........
CM gave me a response a while back when I was wallowing and I found it very inspiring.....He said now is the thime to be happy your single..You have the time and money to do the things you want, without worrying about how if affects someone else. This is a good thing....my quote is not verbatum but you get the hint.
Don't concentrate on the failure. The loss. Get to the place where it is an oppotrunity for you to do things and be yourself, not a couple. Being single now for me is not a failure. I am not a loser cause I am single. I am just me. Funny how you are envied by those unhappy in relationships and you envy those in one!
Re: Does anyone else...? missu: Thanks Jo...I've been going to the gym as well, and hanging out with friends as much as I can. Going out even more than when I was with him. It helps a lot.
I'm sure this feeling of loneliness will subside someday, and I will begin to miss him less and less. It just takes time...and patience.

Hahaha...I know! My best friend always tells me that I'm lucky I'm single now because I don't have to expect anything from anyone (she's unhappy with her relationship every now and then)...I told her that grass is always greener on the other side.
Does anyone else...? defuzer: Does anyone else still think about their ex even though they are relatively happy? It’s been almost two years since my divorce was final and lately I have been thinking more about my ex, and she has even been in my dreams as well. It really kind of angers me that I still waste any time at all thinking about her. I have dated and been dating someone for quite a while that I am happy with, but thoughts of my ex still linger in the back of my mind. I feel I am at a good point in my life (aside from being in Iraq) but I just don’t understand why I still think about her. Anyone else find themselves doing the same?
Re: Does anyone else...? Percy123: No it is just you........Kidding......I am embarased to say how long I have been divorced and the reason I am here is to deal with feelings that have re-emerged and I failed to address. I had girlfriend a plenty since her and some pretty close but the void is still there. I get temporarily distracted and up she pops in my mind. I don't know what it is....Maybe we form a pair-bond with certain people and this bond is never broken.....Anyway I hope the feelings you have are normal cause I got em too....
Be safe over there.
