Re: Yah! For me I got an email on POF! NOT!! Copperblade: Your real name isn't Lost Teacher? I knew there was a reason I couldn't find you in the phonebook.
Re: Yah! For me I got an email on POF! NOT!! Beachchick: Spellcheck!! Spellcheck....
That is funny.....
Re: Yah! For me I got an email on POF! NOT!! allilm: Improper grammar and horrible spelling is a HUGE turn off for me. And believe me, I'm not naturally good with grammar or spelling, but I can at least take a moment to make sure they're not atrocious. Speaking of spelling mistakes, "alot" is not a word, it's "a lot." Oddly enough, I learned more about grammar and spelling from my English degreed stbx, than I probably ever did in school, even undergrad and grad school.

Can you imagine if she knew you posted that here? haha

Ah, I remember the good ol' days of cutting and pasting crappy profiles here! :D

I agree. I know it may sound cruel and critical, but at least in your profile., make it appear that you have a command of the language. Damn, if you are serious about this, you wanna make a good first impression!! It's like a resume for Pete's sake (not using the Lords name in vein today... Ash Wednesday :D).
(BTW, is that how you spell vein, in that context?? I dunno, but I do know it is the way you refer to the blood vessel....oh darn, I'm eating my own words here :D :D)
My bf is no rocket scientist, and that's all fine and good. But his pof profile was short and to the point. I really don't know what I would have done if it looked like that.
Re: Yah! For me I got an email on POF! NOT!! allilm: I'd even say that a well spoken man is a big turn on for me. I recently started emailing a guy (just as friends) I would have never considered. But the way he writes, his vocabulary and style, is very, very attractive.
