Re: Younger woman, DRAMA eponymouss: She called and left a message this evening. Along the lines of "Hey it's me. Just wanted to know what's up with you. What's new. And wanted to see if you wanted to hang out sometime in the future. So call me back."
As though our last conversation had never happened.
I probably know the answer to these questions. But, I'm gonna ask anyway. I like the various points of view. Plus, to be honest, I never played any of these games when I was in my 20's. It was two very long relatively happy relationships.
Is this just the hook she's trying to keep me on? Am I a fool to call back? What are the possible outcomes of this?
Re: Younger woman, DRAMA *Tricia: she wants to make sure she is still fresh in your head so that you have thoughts of her running through your head and hopefully you will eventually hang out with her again, sex and then back in the cycle of spending quality time with her. So yes, it's a hook of sorts! i can predict that she will call you consistently for about a week every day, then a couple times a week, then maybe every two weeks and then the calls will end. If you at all respond to her phone calls the cycle of calls will begin all over again.

Of course it's a hook to trail you along. But watch, the more disinterested you come across (as in simply not interested, not spiteful, just apathetic), the more she'll offer to keep you interested. Expect a torrent of tears eventually, or extreme promises of sexuality to keep you around.
She's playing this game because she's hooked one her friends at her age probably couldn't (in a relationship sense, not a one night stand sense). You're the Big Catch. My advice is still to take the hook out of your mouth and fall back overboard.
Re: Younger woman, DRAMA Freckles: You should not have Sex agan with her unless She Marries You
Re: Younger woman, DRAMA scuba_dvr: She's playing the game of push/pull. The more you back off, the better chance you have of her coming after you. Here's where you gotta play the game better. If you want her back, you don't want to ignore her entirely, but you don't want to make it easy for her either. Show her that you care, express interest in what she has to say, and then say good night.
Let her come to you. Gradually. And if the situation arises, it's ok to have sex, even if you're not married. Sorry Freckles. But really give her pleasure...show her what she's missing when she's not with you. Be really selfless about it. This is not the time for a 30 second orgasm on your part.
