I've done it (burped, not farted). I try not to, because it is not lady-like, but as a medical professional, I strongly discourage gas from being kept in.
My dude is 160 lbs of pure gas!!!! He burps all the time, that doesn't bother me. So why the double standard? He has major stomach issues.
I do appreciate him keeping his farts to himself tho. And he tries. I've caught him ripping a coule SBD's, and I haven't said anything. But he's gotta know that I smell them :'(
