The only time I did tell her that I had feelings was during a brief relapse about 2 months into our relationship. Told her that I couldn't guarantee my marriage was over. It hurt her real bad.
My suggestion- its ok to lean on the new guy, accept his advice, suggestions, reassurance...but take it easy on the pining away for your ex. He's not going to want to hear that and may bolt on you if he thinks your heart is still for someone else.
Oh, and don't keep valentines day gifts from other guys around your office!

I mean - chances are the ex will come up in time - but you don't have to give a "why" to taking it slow.
