The Pub 2/22 YellowJacket: What is something minor that any of your X's used to do that is memorable for you?

I had an X just at the end of high school and start of college that used to put her hand on one of my cheeks and kiss me on the other cheek very slowly and gently.  She'd do that while I was driving, while we were in the movies, while just walking around, etc.  It never lost its effect for me.

With the same X -- hugs that lasted for a really long time.  The ones that were most memorable are from when I was visiting for a weekend and was about to leave to drive back up to school.  We'd stand in the street at 2 or 3 in the morning and hold each other for nearly an hour at times.

In terms of my opinion of all of my former X's, she isn't that high on the list.  But those two things stand out.

Re: The Pub 2/22 lghawaiian: My latest ex used to cook me dinner to enjoy on my lunch breaks.  I miss that, nobody had ever cooked for me before.

As far as the ex wife goes, nothing comes to mind at the moment.

Re: The Pub 2/22 just_me_detroit: I had an ex that would bring me cards, flowers or just find my car and leave me a note while I was gone.

She is the only women that I ever dated that tried to do the little things to tell me how she felt. Every other women expected me to give but never gave back.

I dumped this girl for my ex.  :-\

Mine isn't anything that is for me, or that good, really. But once he washed and dried his work uniforms at my parents' house, and when he did, we smelled something that was similar to banana bread. We go downstairs to check the dryer, and all we saw was a banana peel that was fully intact, but no banana.

I'll never forget that. It was when he actually acted human and had a sense of compassion.
