Re: Alcohol just_me_detroit: That reminds me of the flaming dr peppers we had in college.
Same thing I think except the 151 is layered above the amaretto in a shot glass and lit on fire. Then the shot is dropped into the beer the extinguish the flame.
You then have to chug the whole thing because it foams up.

Dr. Pepper: 1 to 1.5 Ounces of Amaretto + 12 ish ounces of beer = A drink that taste IDENTICAL to Dr. Pepper (it's hard to tell the difference they taste so similar)

What kind of beer? I drink Guiness as a staple, and more exotic (aka "Hey, this thing actually extinguishes light!") brands as fun fun type stuff. I assume by beer you mean something beer-ish, like Budweiser or something?
Re: Alcohol Zipsfb: Yeah I don't think it would work so well with a stout or ale. For drinks I'm adding liquor to beer (e.g. Boilermakers and Dr. Peppers) I use cheap beers. For drinking straight up I tend to lean towards the extra stouts and heavy ales.
Re: Alcohol LostTeacher: i didn't know that it would taste like dr.pepper with beer. i add that to pepsi and it tastes like dr.pepper.....never thought that it would be good with beer.

Re: Alcohol Copperblade: For hard liquor, either scotch and water, or a dirty martini (gin of course).
If I'm out to have a beer, and they have it on tap, I'll take Guiness or a black and tan with Smithwick's. Out of the bottle... Sam Adam's Light.
