Well, in my situation, my ex left me with a bunch of bills and the kiddos. I had to change jobs to a lesser paying job. Hence, I'm broke.

I was almost there at one time.
Over the last 20 years I have filed almost $500,000 in medical bills and there just isnt' enough money to pay everyone as much as they want every month. The pressure was horrible but over time we paid our part of the medical off without having to file.
Financial pressures are very tough to work through and I'm sorry you are having to go through that.
