Fortunately, my parents are very supportive, but they have their own agendas.....golf, fishing, travelling. My mom helps when she can, but my dad just sold the bank and he has been tied up with that. They do what they can but......
The point is the only family that I have here is atl as my parents live in NW GA and my family lives in NE TN. I am basically on my own and I feel ya babe!
What do we do about it? Whatever we have to. We are all we have. Love ya! I would help if I was there.
