Please tell me you don't smoke, Mel.
So many patients come in to the office, coughing, wheezing, deep throaty voices. I ask them if they smoke. 99 x out of a hundred they answer in the affirmitive, and then after they catch their breath they give all the reasons why the smoking has NOTHING to do with it.

If you are constantly exposed to secondhand smoke, then absolutely. Here in NY they have passed laws to do away with smoking in virtually all public places.
