So, this guy has sex with the woman, knowing full well that sex is how babies are made and you're gonna let him off the hook?

If this guy doesn't want to take care of a kid, then he shouldn't have stuck his dick in that woman.  He needs to be held responsible for his actions.  He had sex with her.  That means he took the risk of getting a woman pregnant and therefore having a child.

Time to be a big boy and take responsibility.

I am sorry I should have made myself clearer blazin, I meant the law they are trying to pass itself not the situation.  I believe that men should have equal rights as women, however I never believed women should have the right to destroy a life in the first place.  ;)
Re: 'Roe v. Wade for Men' Phyxius: “Roe says a woman can choose to have intimacy and still have control over subsequent consequences,” he said. “No one has ever asked a federal court if that means men should have some similar say.”

This is the fundamental question, folks. Personally, I think the scales should be even. If she has the right to opt out, so should he. Anything else is unequal treatment under law.

Maybe if men did have the right to opt out, it would force the current custody/child support racket to evolve into something that more closely resembled sanity...

Are you suggesting that abortion should be illegal?

I must certainly am!  :o  This is just my opinion, I am sure others feel differently I just happen to feel very strongly on this subject.  ;)

What, she had no part in the decision to have sex then Blazin?  It's a two person act, two people are responsible, two people should have the same say about the consequences.  End of story.

That works...in cases of rape.

[quote"> Time to be a big boy and take responsibility.[/quote">

Same for her.  She doesn't want kids, she doesn't have to have sex.  She wants sex, she takes the same risks.  If the end result is a child, they both should have a say about whether they want it or not (if one buys into abortion arguments).  End of discussion.

The condom broke excuse just doesn't sit well with me.  I've heard this before and I just can't see a condom breaking all willy-nilly like that so often.  It's not that I'm packing a woping 1" pecker and the idea is beyond comprehension, but past experiences in college of sending a humble condom over the balcony loaded with 10 gallons of water makes me wanna cry BULL SH_T!

As for the topic.  Umm  Well if you don't want a kid then don't have sex with women or if you do find some other place to put it.  Don't go cry'n foul if you knock some chick up.

[/quote">

This has nothing to do with "crying foul".  It's about equality before the law.  Currently only one gender has legal options once a child is conceived.  That needs to end.  Both or none, this preferential treatment crap is just that, crap.
