Unreal... yella: My 8 year old is still struggling at school. I just got a call from his teacher saying that Sylvan isn't helping him, and that he's below grade level in reading, math, and his focus is still not there.
So, I talk to his teacher and to Sylvan to get a good idea on where we're at. I get stories from both. Total crap, right?
I call my ex to tell him that I'm getting T tested for ADHD. Not asking, telling. He says fine, but he doesn't want him on meds. Next comes the real kicker...
He tells me that I don't pay enough attention to my kids! I DON'T PAY ENOUGH ATTENTION!!!! ME! The one who has them 24/7, the one raising them, the one who takes time off work for dentist, doctor, school functions, tutoring, etc... He sees them 12 hours total each MONTH!!! But I don't pay enough attention.
Then the a$$hole proceeds to ask me where the reading time is!!! WTF!? This coming from a guy who REFUSES to read to his kids because he CAN'T READ himself. Me not reading every single night is what's causing this. It's all MY fault. >:(
You want to know why we're divorced?! I'll tell you why. The a$$hole can't live his own life! Never could, never will. His life became my responsibility. He didn't live it, I DID! All of his insurance... I set it up... his application for his job... I set it up... his 401K... I st it up... his hair cut appointments... I set it up! Whatever he needed to live his life I DID! He never did a f*cking thing! EVER!
He never came to a doctor's appointment when I was pregnant. Hell, the hospital didn't even know who he was! Yet he was there when the boys were born so he'd have the limelight from it.
God forbid I made a mistake, and nothing I ever did was enough. Nothing!
So, for you out there... married... divorced... dating... think long and hard about what you give, and what you take. If you lean too much on that one person to live your life for you... you'll lose that person. Say good-bye to the relationship you take for granted because one day... the one you take advantage of will pay you back, and you're not going to like it. In fact... think three times fold. Guaranteed!
I'm sick of this crap, and I'm sick of him blaming me for everything!
