Let's hope........ AngelBaby: Well, I got offered a job today, tentatively, as long as I pass the drug screen and credit check. It's a job working for the local cable company.
It's only part time, but it's more money than what I'm making now. I was working for a publications company, and I got switched from being an admin assistant making $10 an hour to being on the sales floor, making commissions only. My check this last week was only $190. Not even enough for my rent. I was PISSED! >:(
But, the HR lady at the cable company called me today, and like I said offered me a job based on the fact that I would pass the drug test and credit check. So HOPEFULLY, I will be starting sometime in the next week and a half. She said that she should have all the results back by next Monday, and she will call me and let me know, and then I would start probably the following Monday. So basically I have 2 weeks left in hell at my current place of employment.
So let's all hope and pray that I get this new job.....much less stress, FREE CABLE, and cheap high speed internet.....not to mention that I love working customer service, and I am good at it, and it would be a definite change for the better.....I'll be happier, I'll have more time to spend with J's mom, and I can get enrolled in school again.
That makes me HAPPY! ;D ;D ;D ;D

AngelBaby: Well, here it is, the next Monday, and I didn't hear from them today. :-\ I'm not really sure what that means, although I have a friend that works there too, and she said that the HR lady was really busy today, so I'm hoping that the reason I didn't get a call today was simply that they were too busy. That would be wonderful if that was the reason.
I really, really, really, really want this job, and I've been able to think of nothing but that...........*sigh*
