At least Franken is funny sometimes. Have you ever read Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot? Laugh out loud funny. Very skewed, but some of the best political satire I've read. Coulter is just scary.

I honestly haven't cracked a smile at Franken since he was a regular on SNL, and that's been what, around 17-20 years ago now? It's not that I disagree or agree with any of his politics, it's just that he's so obnoxious. Matter of taste I suppose.
Coulter may seem scary, but she's only saying things to get people to react. It keeps her in a job. In a bid for money, better to make waves and keep people mad over opinions than be boring or reasonable. Sadly, it's the way things work in an "information society".
Is she really nuts? Dunno. Maybe. I am uncomfortable when I notice that sometimes, she has a really big adam's apple and really large hands, but I try not to think about that too much, it gives me the creeps.

Classic Lumpy!! I dont know much about this story.. I just know I cant stand Ann Coulter.. the funny thing is.. she would make the PERFECT wife for my husband.. he thinks everything that comes out of her mouth is gospel.. yet everything I say is crazy ::) Wonder if I could get the lollipop with a head to take him off my hands??? :D :P

You may dislike Franken's politics, but his body of work as a writer seperates him from party hacks like Coulter and Limbaugh. He was one of the original writers on SNL. IMO he's a much better writer than he is a performer, either on TV or on the radio. If you want a good laugh, pick up the Limbaugh book in paperback. I'm not saying you'll agree with the politics but I guarantee that you'll laugh your ass off. Very solid satire.
