Yes, yes and yes. Thank you for putting my experience down so eloquently. Thanks for getting it. Wow - the power of being understood. I am starting to feel a bit better. Yoga here I come... :)
Re: I Can't Stop Crying Percy123: It just hits you.

When I got divorced, I hit the ground running and accomplished a ton of things. Started business, dealt with a dying father, moved, and many other items.  My body and mind were in survival mode and I was bullet-proof.  It is natures way of helping you survive the threat.  You are able to tolerate anything and you can't believe how focused and energitic you are.
Then your body and mind no longer percieve this threat and you come out of fight or flight mode.  It hits you then......you start crying and the grieving process starts.  This was my experience I am not sure you are feeling the same but maybe.

Let it flow.  Be proud of the distance you put on your divorce and now you can rest and re-group.....It is time to start living again.

You kept it together and handled the crisis, and now you gotta breath.

I Can't Stop Crying pisces22: i have been really good for quite awhile but today it has all just come apart again. my stbx dropped off my cds and left them on the front door and then emailed and I have come unglued. I have been running around for 5 months straight trying to be okay but I am tired now. In 5 months I haveI have run a 5 k, lost 20lbs, completed a creative writing course, joined a social justuice group, joined a choir, took up yoga, started a post grad degree, listed my house, took on a mortgage I can't afford, listed my house again. I am leaving a job I love at the end of June to move closer to my family, so I now have to look for a new job, I am grieiving my dad who died 6 months ago so hard and my 10year marriage where I feel confused and regretful and sad. I am soooo tired. I am so tired. I know I am being dramatic but I just can't stop crying - and I have yoga in an hour.
Re: I Can't Stop Crying pisces22: I am just so sad right now.  :'( :'( :'(
Re: I Can't Stop Crying kitkat: You have a LOT on your plate. Being overwhelmed is pretty normal in times like these. Crying is an emotional release. Often it's that or explode.

Things will settle down and reach an equilibrium. Until then ((((hugs))))
