The Ojarian Exercise Journal to keep you motivated wizer_now: I just got off the treadmill, and I had this great idea. I am going to log my progress as I shed the pounds, to help motivate me.

Feel free to post with your maximum weight, your current weight, and your target weight. And then update as you either gain or lose.

Max Weight Ever: 2 weeks ago: 230.
Minimum weight ever: about a year ago before all the divorce crap and I was exercising regularly: 193.
Target: 193.
Today: 225.

Normal weight for me: 175-185
Minimum weight ever: 164
Target weight: 163

Re: The Ojarian Exercise Journal to keep you motivated crushedman: By the way, Wizer, a treadmill is a terrible way to lose weight.  It's too easy and not strenuous enough.  Try running OUTSIDE.  Much, much better.  Or basketball or racquetball.  Do you know that if I go to the gym on a Sunday and play racquetball for 5 hours, I can lose up to 10 pounds- THAT DAY!  Yes, most of it is water weight, but a couple of those pounds stay off.

Re: The Ojarian Exercise Journal to keep you motivated just_me_detroit: treadmills are fine. just kick the inclination up. I try to do cardio at about 1000 calories a hour.

It depends on what your definition of 'fine' is.  It's probably the least productive type of exercise I can think of short of walking.  If you are going to put in the time, why not do something that's going to be more effective?
