something I've learned... JadedButtafly: had to share... I've learned that its quite an empowering feeling to get a family portrait done, without him, me and the 3 kids, and hang it up on the wall. It is a positive reminder that your life is moving on and it does get better :)
Re: something I've learned... superwife: That is a great feeling. The first Christmas apart, I sent out cards of just teh two of us (my daughter and I). They weren't professional, just me and my girl, taken on our couch, with Christmas pajamas on. It was kind of like announcing the 'new' family.
Re: something I've learned... mcjaded: Got to agree, especially when most of us have had the bad experience of putting away the "together" pictures for the kids to have one day. I take alot of pictures with just me and my kids. New memories, new life.... one picture at a time.
