When someone gets arrested for possession of drugs, the cops let them off the hook if they roll on their dealers, (usually friends) or friends.
Undercover cops.
Kids in school encouraged to rat out their classmates.
Ojarians crying foul at the tiniest perceived slight.
Somewhere along the way, there has been a changing of the guard, and this type of thing has gone from taboo to socially acceptable and even encouraged. In my opinion, people that tattle on others for personal gain (or to avoid personal catastrophe) are the lowest form of scum. It's pathetic and disgraceful. If it were up to me, the tattletales would be punished just as severely as the offenders of the crime, and in some cases FAR more severely.
