2002 - Got married. She got pregnant a month after we got married.
2003 - Had kid via c-section. Sex stopped.
2004 - Sex slowly started again. She stays at home, put her on anti-d's for ppd.
2005 - Her family from Louisiana come to live with us and her other family in town fleeing Katrina. She becomes emotionally distant. We have fight, she asks for divorce. Enter counseling instead. Find e-mail she sent to an OM (but not the one she left me for) detailing exactly what she'd like to do to him. It was sent 3 weeks after we started counseling. Sounded like us having sex, I wrote it off as erotic literature (she was supposed to be a writer).
2006 - Things fall apart. She lied about counseling working. In retrospect, I think she used it as an excuse. Things were fun up to 2 days before she left. After she leaves, find out she's planning to boff some kid she met playing World of Warcraft. I file for divorce.
2007 - We're still in the process. She has her own place and her own job. She's looking at getting a second job because she's barely making ends meet. I dated on and off. There's someone who could have my heart if she'd just reach out and take it.

Started dating at 17, my first and only love
Together 8 years and then got married in 2002
Married for 4 years. No real issues, never fought, got along pretty well. He was lazy and never helped out much even though we both worked. He considered me asking him to mow the grass when it was 2 feet tall nagging.
No kids
He left me for OW 9 days before our 4th anniversary
He came home 5 more times in 5 months and then left to go back to her each time
Figured out he's a drunk, an ass and a loser, now I'm done
Currently looking for a real man

Re: Tell your brief story here ionysis: Met 4.5 years ago at work. Had passionate fling that turned into relationship. Moved in together after 18 months. Lived in London (home city for both of us) for 2 years. Bought a family house in France together. Got engaged. Moved to the Middle East. Planned wedding, honeymoon rest of entie life together, planned on starting a family in the summer. 2 months before the wedding got told he didn't want to marry me anymore. Moved out. Lived out of a suitcase staying with a friend for a month. Just moved into my own apartment. Tried to move on with my life. Ex stays in touch and says he loves me but still doesn't know if he wants to marry me or not. Told him to f/o and come back when he's made up his mind - with no guarantees I'll still be interested then. Getting on with getting on, dating others, including him.
Re: Tell your brief story here soreheart: Met 12 years ago. Married 10 years. No kids (through choice). He decides Dec 2006 that there is something 'missing'...not sure what. Wants to separate. Then decides not too. Spends next 2.5 months telling me how good our life is going to be. Mid feb - he phones me to tell me I should look for somewhere else to stay (he is already away from home due to work) that he just doesn't want to be with me anymore. Me: lots of tears, heartbreak. He contacts me when it suits him. Still won't let go. Last five weeks have been a total nightmare but getting better o so slowly......
Still hopeful but pretty sure now I deserve better anyway!!!
