Re: addiction related stories wanted gns: My story seems similar in a lot ways. He drinks every night (at least a bottle of wine) and does pot every night. He would want to spend more time with his drinking buddies then with me. He would call them all the time.
We broke up and now he says I was trying to control him and that everyone (people who I thought liked me) thinks he was a "different person" around me.
The confounding factor is that he was also email flirting/cheating with 2 women during our three years. He also called his ex f**k buddy and women that were attracted to him (but no overt flirting). Don't really know what of make of that
