I wouldn't wnat to with mine A) because of piece of me still loves him and I might see that as something its not and B) because he's a two pump chump and I need more than that in my life lol just isn't worth the pain it could put you though.

Re: Sex With An Ex????? trying to cope in Ky: Ok, I have been in this situation and have had sex with the ex. Sometimes I think you think that sex will heal all wounds but oh that is so wrong. I did want to get back with my ex as I saw my boys hurting and wanted to fix that for them. I do have to say now tho that I am so very glad that we didnt' get back together as I would have still been miserable. Sex with him did mess with my emotions and I was a basket case for a very long time. In my opinion I wouldn't do it again that is forsure. Hurts way to much!
Re: Sex With An Ex????? ionysis: I'm afraid I might be a bad person to give advice on this but I don't always think it's a bad thing. It's got to be better to sleep with someone you know and trust even if you aren't together than a random stranger. I suppose it comes down to motive and emotional impact.
I personally have a big problem going without physical intimacy for long periods so I usually sleep with my ex in order to avoid acting in a predatory way with other men. It suits both of us. I am still very close friends to all the men I have had long term relationships with. I have on occasion slept with them after we broke up when we were both single and it did not cause complications.
I actually get a lot of comfort out of spending time with and sleeping with my ex, I like the fact that he is still in my life and we still care about each other despite the fact we are no longer going to be married. I don't feel emotionally violated or distressed by it at this point in my life as I am happy ith where I am at present. However, if you feel this is damaging you emotionally that is a different story.
I agree that men seem to view the physical side less emotionally than women - probably due to their ability to compartmentalise. If you can do this too then go ahead, if not then maybe it IS playing with fire.
