Re: mixed up lgv: It seems to be somewhat of a common reaction. They leave, cheat on us, want out, treat us like shit, and we hang in there, try to work things out, until we say enough is enough and start moving on. THEN they drag their feet and stall all attempts to finalise things. I am dealing with this situation too, and I simply do not understand it. A part of me thinks that giving him the benefit of the doubt and considering the possibility that he might be reconsidering saving our marriage would be giving him too much credit. In reality, I think he is simply too much of a coward and a mediocre half man that cannot even face the consequences of his decision to end our marriage and as always is expecting me to do the work.

As long as I am not affected by it (I have already separated all things in the financial department) I will not file for divorce. I am in no rush to divorce, I am in no hurry to get involved with anyone else at this point. If anything, he is the one involved with not one but two girls, and should be the one rushing to the courthouse to be a 'free and happy man,' right?
