I hope you're right CM...with a huge support obligation over MY head, I don't want to think I would be tossed in a cell with Bubba and forced to be his bitch just because the eyeglass business got slow or something....

I think that child support is a whole other issue all together. I think that what cm is talking about is alimony payemts here.

With child support they can take your SOUL if your not careful

Yours might be the a rare example where I would be nervous about such a thing- because you have much to lose.  In the eyes of the court if you have a house worth 100k and no mortgage, it's the same as having 100k in the bank. If you have an obligation and can't pay it w/ liquid, they don't care.   When the dollar figures go up, it becomes more and more feasible to go after the default.

Well, so far things are just fine in the eyeglass business.
Re: Looking at a decree violation anyone have any answers... crushedman: To clarify- cs and even alimony are different then what I was referring to.  I'm talking about a divorce decree, which is essentially a court ordered judgement to pay X to your spouse, OR pay off X of your spouses debts, OR obtain X of your spouses materials, etc.

She is psycho though so in the back of my mind I will be worried. Cheaters always win.
