Re: Last Wonderful Memory of Your Ex. flipflopnomore: The weekend before he left we were camping at the lake with a bunch of friends for a few days. We had a great time wakeboarding, drinking, and playing around.
OMG, I had forgotten all about that. Seems strange that just a week later our lives would go to hell.

But truly, our wedding day. Cliche but true. He was absolutely estactic. He had his best man show up at my house prior to the wedding and "present" me with a beautiful necklace to wear at the wedding as a suprise...and along with the necklace was a card saying wonderful things about me. It was very touching.
And this sounds small, but the weekend we split up, when we sat down to have our last "talk" in the series of all those talks, he handed me a tape and said that he had taped the series finale of one of my favorite TV shows a few days before because he knew I had something to do and hadn't been able to watch it. It was something he had often done for me.
It struck me that even as we were ending our relationship and marriage we were kind to each other like that. So sad.
