What I get out of it is someone I can talk to very openly and with no pressure or expectation and I like that, good friends are very hard to come by and should be valued. I should have clarified that we don't have "nights out", we have met in the daytime for coffee and stuff and my new gf doesn't feel threatened by that at all. If she was then I wouldn't do it.
It just puzzles me that my Ex is making all the effort to contact me, not the other way round which is a little unnerving. I can't help but wonder why?
