The Islamic terrorists are going to attact the U.S. again regardless of who we attack or don't attack. Don't you know anything about extremist Islam? They want us all dead. Regardless of whether you believe this or not, (and I tend to believe it's somewhat overstated) a nuclear attack would have far reaching unintended consequences that have nothing to do with muslims or Jihad. What about Russia? China? Do you think these countries are going to idly sit by and watch while we destroy a portion of the the world's oil? The real threats are Russian and China, these are the countries that have the power to bankrupt our nation, and if we do something stupid, they will be forced to play the hands they are dealt.

Oh and Freck, I agree. We need to deal with Iran now. But if we did we'd have to answer to Russia and China, the two biggest, fascist, and most corrupt countries in the world who happen to be in bed with Iran. They have nukes and would probably love nothing more than blast the U.S.of A. right off the map.

But we're the civilized ones, right? Russia is done as a superpower. Until they stabilize their own economy I don't really see how they factor in at all. China and the U.S. are in bed with each other economically to a degree that supercedes political agenda. They won't stand in our way nor will we stand in theirs. Money talks and everything else gets drowned out or paid off. The mere fact that you agree with Freck about a political issue speaks volumes to me. As far as I'm concerned, nukes are an option of last resort. You people scare me. :P
