My bf is wonderful! sheydp: He surpassed himself yesterday. He stayed home from work and moved furniture, cleaned the house, made a fantastic dinner, picked up the kids so they were home when I got home… I came home to… HOME. We let the kids play outside for a bit, then had them in and ate dinner watching a movie (we NEVER have time for a movie in the middle of the week!) It was like having a weekend day in the middle of the week!
Just when I think I am going to break down and go under from stressing over crud (and all the other crud I bring in with it when I am stressed) he buoys me up and makes me so happy to be home, and alive, and with my family. He once told me we would make the best of whatever news came, even the worst possible news. He said even if we found out I was dying in three months, they would be the best three months we could make them. I didn’t think I could enjoy that time, knowing how much I would have to do to get ready to leave… but now I know I COULD. This is what a partner should be. He makes my life enjoyable, even in the worst parts of it. I never thought I could be this happy!
