My story Alex04007: Hello,I am Alex and I am a very devistated 28 year old mother of 3.My husband Roger of 5 years and longtime sweetheart left me recently and it hurts.But I have my kids and my family in my life.I am the oldest of three and I have two younger brothers,Mike and Jesse that behind me for support.My parents are there for me too comforting me.I have three kids,12 year old son Lucas,8 year old son Russel and 6 year old daughter Katie.I am focused on my job and raising my kids.

Keep your family close. You will need all of them to help you get through the pain.
One thing I can offer is that it does get better eventually. It may not seem like it will, but one day you will wake up and realize that you are better.
Stay around and post whatever is bothering you or hurting.

I know it sounds cliche but it will get better in time. My wife left 9 months ago and I am feeling alot better now. Not everyday but in general. I can actually accomplish things at work and I'm not thinking of her everyday.

Re: My story wizer_now: Realize that your family WANTS to give you support, you will not be so much of a burden for them as much as an opportunity for them to be a support for you. I was not too close to my younger brother and older sister, but the disaster that has become my life has brought me much closer to them...they have offered my endless hours of support and I will be forever thankful for it.
Try to look at what you DO have and not what you lost...some days will be better than others, in fact, some minutes and seconds will be better than others...welcome to the rollercoaster that is life after marriage.
