no contact fading17: so my ex went on a trip and we hung out the day before he left. we had a GREAT day. but silly me, i thought he would want to talk to me when he was away? maybe miss me a little? i don't know. i haven't heard a peep from him. and i'm happy he's having fun, he deserves it....but i would like to hear from him.
i was talking to my mom today and she said the only was to find out if he misses me is to not be there all the time. she thinks i should back off...stop the txting and calling everyday. see what's really there. does he really want to be with me and talk to me? or is he simply responding to me?
so it has been VERY hard..but i'm in day 2 of no contact. i know that may not sound like a lot...but for me, it is. this is the longest we have gone without talking...ever...in the 4 years we were together and even during the whole breakup. and i'm sure he's going to call one of these nights. and he'll be back in a couple of days and he'll want to hang out...but just for right now....for when he's away...no contact. trying to make him think a little...let him see what life is like without me...even if it is just for a week.
maybe he'll miss me?
