Re: I need a remedial dating class just_me_detroit: I am just a rookie in this dating world, but I am probably like M. I have only had long term relationships all my life. Right now what I want is to just date and enjoy myself without an emotional commitment. What I am finding though is the girls I meet want more. Even though I don't feel an emotional attachment, they do. What I am doing is not fair to them.
I'm not sure what to do either. :-\
Re: I need a remedial dating class hudson: So....the guy made a joke and you turned it into a drama. Typical. This is why I hate dating.

I think you don't know Pad what he's doing with other girls and you don't ask until it becomes a necessity for you. At that point either he'll tell you he's ready to be exclusive or he'll tell you it's really none of your business who else he dates since you agreed to date others. Personally, I didn't date guys who went into it with the idea they were going to be dating anyone and everyone in town. That didn't mean we had to be exclusive right away, but I did want to invest time and energy with someone that agreed if we really clicked we would become exclusive.
I found dating two people at the same time exhausting and time consuming so I didn't do it. I do believe though when you meet the person that really does it for you then you don't want to date around. It happens naturally.

Um, excuse me miss smartypants but you are in no position to say whether or not my response is helpful or not. I'm simply adding a little perspective to the situation. Women have a tendency to complicate things by over analyzing stuff to death.
I think the situation may be as simple as pad turning a simple joke into a drama by over analyzing this dude's motives. Nothing more, nothing less. If she wants to take offense that's her prob, if she wants to consider what i'm saying, cool.
So christy, you can kiss my patooty.
