I got over it by finding out that woman are attracted to me. Then I found out that other woman do enjoy me intimately. Now I have no feelings of inadequacy.

Re: cheating and inadequacy/betrayal Lumpy: I think with time the sense of inadequacy fades. You can rebuild your sense of self-esteem. The betrayal part tends to linger a bit longer I'd say.
