High stakes date.... Percy123: So tomorrow night is for all the marbles. I have a re-date with an old flame. 3 years ago I was a dick and kicked her to the curb. I entered into the relationship fresh out of divorce and basically was the same person in both and took out my feelings on this poor girl. Anything remotely like the ex was bad.
Well this girl unfortunately was perfect in a lot of ways. The right girl at the wrong time. A parade of nameless dim wits since has proved this. For any following this she is "New York girl".
I email her, she emails back, I send another, she send one back. In the course of this we establish we should meet and set the record straight. I tell her I think about her. She tells me she thinks about me. So the date is tomorrow. I would think nothing of it, just innocnet meeting but I ask her to come to NJ. She says can't but next time she would come to NJ. Next time? Freudian slip? No next time was implied. Premise was to talk things over, i.e. our break up.
We both expressed we are eager to see each other. I am feeling good. Timing is good....Spring is in the air.
I would like some input here....I need ammo.

I kept re-reading th e mails to make sure I wasn't missing something. My therapist was also taken back by this....she said sounds like she has a plan.

Just remember, spring may be on the calender, but it is certainly not in the air in NY (it's more like snow in the air :o).
