[Geek] Netbios names for computers... darkrose: So I'm bored and talking my gf like substance, and she said that the network she's working on has southpark netbios names.. so that got me to thinking about how I set up netbios names in the past for my computers.
Back in my lan partying days, we had one computer (Usually the fastest with the most storage) to share out maps and such and act as the server for games. We called it "the File Wh*re" because it really did nothing for us but wh*re out maps, game downloads, etc... So when I built my network, I had:
Workgroup: BunnyRanch
Router/Gateway: Pimp
Server: Filewh*re
Laptop: Portawh*re
My workstation: Escort (it was $4,000!!!!!)
Stbx's pos: 2dolla-ho

That's how it is now..we started heading towards a star wars themed network, but then the stbx left.. She had a laptop that constantly froze on her, so I named it "Hoth". lol...
Now I'm getting back to "Wh*re" names...
