Re: Weather and moods... snkpack: I love gloomy weather.  I don't know why.  I have great childhood memories of rainy days and playing board games by candlelight when the power went out.  :)
Weather and moods... yella: So maybe this needs to be a vent, but I want to know how many actually believe this. It's been raining here since Sunday. It's not a type of rain what will stop for a little bit, then start back up again. It's the wind driven rain that changes to some stupid mist, constantly being blown around by some tough winds, that only ensure that everything stays wet.

That being said, it's been suggested that rain, especially days of it, can have a negative affect on moods. I personally think this is true because it's not PMS time (yes, this is relevent), and I typically only get testy on that occasion. But for the past 2 days I've been wanting to tear someone's head off, and have very little patience. In fact things look very, very dark. It sucks.

I look outside, and all I see is grey. I hate the color grey, and now even more so. I truly feel that if I see some sun is shining, my mood will change dramatically.  ::)

Thoughts?

So, do you believe that the weather can have a true affect on moods?

Fuck that bullsh*t.

It's raining here and I feel fine.
Re: Weather and moods... fkunone: Yes, I think it can affect a mood eventually.  Just like any type of monotonous environment or series of environments anybody may experience.

So if it's raining for awhile, it eats it.  Sometimes, even when it's nice out for several days, some people may want to see an occasional rain.

All in all, I think so.
