Re:Should I pay Kinney26: I still have my stbx on my car insurance, but I make her pay her share. If she wants her independence, give it to her. If you pay that means she is still dependent on you. She asked for it.
Re:Should I pay seth: I love the cliches women use when they leave you. They want their "independence" to "have their own space" because they're "co-dependent" and you're "holding them back" and they "need to grow."

My ex told me that I didn't "love myself." She really swallows up new age psychology and goes to therapy at least once a week and is on multiple antidepressants. I remember last year that she got her palm read at a street fair--the woman told her she was "haaaaving troooouble with looooove...."

On the way home, we stopped to buy her some aromatherapy candles and then later I went online to read her detailed monthly horoscope she subscribes to. When she left, she told me she was going to become a yoga instructor.

Why me? I dream about marrying a woman who is a marine biologist or engineer or something. I'll ask her, "Do you believe in astrology?" She'll give me a blank look like I'm crazy.... 8)

Re:Should I pay sadinct: I, too, vote to let her prove her independance by making her pay her own way. She has made a decision, and you have respected it, or at least complied wih it. It's time for her to accept the consequences of her actions!

Stay Strong!

Seth- I really get a lot from your posts... even when they're not to me. thanks!
