signs that I am slowly getting better Kinney26: First of all, I got the first set of papers a couple weeks ago and when I sterted reading them I cryed like a baby. I got the second set this morning and I felt like I might cry, but i would have had to force it a little. She was over this morning to drop off my son and the papers, and I was bummed for only a second and then started having fun with my son. Here presence doesn't ruin the rest of my day anymore. I very rarely cry, and if I do it is for a second. I still get down, but not all day. I am starting to feel that my life is not over, just an unexpected turn. I am far from normal, but I get a little closer everyday. It has been 4 1/2 monthsjust to give you an idea. The hills on the rollercoaster are still there, but not as steep. Oh yeah, and I am more worried about where my life is going than where it has been, most of the time.

It's been 5 1/2 months for me (she left April 3) and I know what you mean. Things are getting a lot better for me too. This weekend, I finally did my 2003 taxes! I might even clean my apartment and shave....
Is it just me or does it seem like women are the ones who initiate breakups and divorce more? :)
