Re:New stage, new pain Druid13: I am sorry you are feeling this way also...some of what you have said reminds me of my ex-wife....she had told me ( prior to anything happeneing) of the person she is with now....supposedly harassing her at work....she repeaedly told me "you have nothing to worry about"....later after I knew the affair had occured ( while we were supposedly fixing things) she told me she would never leave me...etc...etc....my own self esteem was never that good either.I understand how this must hurt...and I don't understand why our exs could be ....or ever would be...so cruel.
I've said it before while my ex was supportive and helped me to believe in myself...all of the good things she did for me...were destroyed by her own actions....people I don't think understand how cruel their actions really are....
