Alerady having custody issues butters: Why does my stbx think I am such a bad father. She says she wants me in my daughters life then creates every road block she can to take that time away.
Halloween falls on my weekend this year and she is mad that I am taking my daughter out of town to the zoo to go trick or treating. She wants me to make the two and a half hour drive back to our hometown so she can take our daughter to her great grandparents for two hours. She had the nerve to say to me that I am the one who is going to have to explain to my daughter why she didnt get to spend Halloween with her mother. Why does she think she gets the right to expect me to disrupt my weekends with my child to do her a favor.
She is the one that wanted this divorce but she wants everything to work out for her. She says that I am just leaving town to get back at her, how arrogant of her. Maybe it is the fact that her older half sister lives in that other town and I want them to see each other as much as possible.
I honestly think my stbx has fallen off the deep end, she is not acting rational what so ever. It just pi**es me off that a person who vowed to love me to the end and let me invest so much emotional time into can decide to change overnight. I truly have nothing but hate for her.
Sorry, I am rambiling but I guess anger will make you do that sometimes. On the up side I do get to see my daughter for a few hours today.

I understand the complete change of a person bc I don't have a clue who my X is anymore. He changed over night.

They get every other holiday.
If my sister has xmas she gets him xmas eve thru 10 or 12 am xmas morning then He gets him.
Turkey day My parents and her Xs parents plan the meal at different times so my nephew can go to both.
Now halloween he goes with his dad bc he has sblilngs there and none at his moms so it is more fun to go with them.
They weren't this nice in the beginning, but my mom has a great relationship with the X and she has helped to create this wonderful enviroment for my nephew. (of course, my sister was the bad guy in their divorce...the cheater that is)
They don't do trade offs at home...they meet in the walmart parking lot. It is just more comfortable that way...plus it doesnt seem as bad if they have their OWOM with them.
Re:Alerady having custody issues butters: Yeah,my suggestion was that I would give up two of my hours on Thrus. before Halloween and she could dress my daughter up and take her then. She was not going for that at all. This woman wants the divorce but she wants all the perks also.
She says she wants whats best for my daughter but first she files for divorce without even trying professional help and then she tries to regulate my quality time with the kid to fit her schedule. Well guess what we are not married anymore and I do not have to worry about pleasing this Biotch anymore.
I have bent over backwards to try to make things work so far and everytime I do she wants more. I am about to the point now where I say F**k it and just stick to what the papers say.
Two new rules for me to live by. 1.Focus on what will make my self happy first, not what will get me and the stbx back together and 2.make the most of my time with my daughters.
