I think anyone that has been single for a time, no matter their age, gets to feeling like this at one point or another.
Re: Expectations snkpack: It's been six years since the divorce for me. I tried once since then to be serious and it ended up earning me yet another broken heart. I guess we can't help but to expect things, but must learn to be content with what we have in the meantime.
