Gosh, what love and support.....
I am much better today. Much better. Back on track. Just a day thing I hope. Sometimes, I even forget that it all actually and really happened to me.
What my X did to me was horrible. Without a doubt. But he too has soul searched and cried over this disgusting mess. Last night he called me late. Crying. Remembering that horrid day too. He was very depressed and very guilt ridden. I have watched him struggle with this issue (his adultery) too. Oviously not like I have but it in his own pain. I have to remind myself that he is human and that he has suffered too. I don't have to wait for him to get what he deserves. He has. He lost everything. And he knows it. He really knows it. He has siad he would go back in time if he could to change it. And I do believe him.
We had seven solid "wonderful" years together. Then we had two years of hell. Nine years. Well now ten altogether. We have communicated everyday throughout this ordeal of a past year. Somedays crying, comforting and compassionate. Other days hateful, mean, cold and distant. I do appreciate the fact that he has allowed me lash out at him when needed and to cry when needed. He has witnessed his destruction first hand. I know alot of us here on ojar never get that.
I am so glad that August the 6th is over.
