Wedding Song scrdbyelmo: I listened to it today without skipping (launchcast) and i don't think im going to listen again...i slipped right out of reality into my wedding gown and i could feel the blue carpet under my feet and the tears running down my face and the gaze i was locked into....
no, wont listen to that again....
what happened... :-[
the ironic thing was an affair is what happened and "Faithfully" by journey was the song...you would think that the irony would get me through it but it doesn't do a thing to help...
Re:Wedding Song Beren: One way you'll know where you're at in your recovery is how you react to songs that held some meaning to you in your marriage. From time to time, and not because I'm smart but because I'm stubborn, I'll take a song and listen to it over and over again until it loses its meaning. Whether that's a good way to deal with it, I don't know.
I'm down to merely sighing at most songs now. But every now and then something will catch me off guard.

Re:Wedding Song Kinney26: Songs usually still make me shed a tear if it reminds me of my marriage.
Re:Wedding Song drfaustus: I still can't listen to my wedding song. I heard it last week at work and let loose a long string of explitives.
Re:Wedding Song 2brix: Ouch Ouch Ouch
I live in red neck Canada. Better Known as Edmonton Alberta. We have one country station in town on the FM band that does the repeat thing all the time with its play list. I have deliberatly avoided my collection of CDs so I listen to the radio. Not much better as now I get "Live like you were dieing" and "My way". Think thats the name of the second song that makes me pull the car over. I grew up listening to music and letting the rythums pull my feelings out, now I get the regular ouch ouch ouch. Sorry about the spelling I never could nor do I really want to learn how to now.
