Re:This is love... Bug: I thought I'd add a story too. My grandparents are in their 90's. Just recently my grandmother had to have her hip and an ankle replaced, and surgery on her back. A month later my grandpa had a heart attack and had to have an angeoplasty (sp?). I was recently over there visiting and they were doing some good natured teasing with each other. My grandparents were always old fashioned he worked and she was the house wife. She is very like June from leave it to beaver. Well we had lunch and my grandma goes to get up and my grandpa says no hun you just stay there and I will do the dishes. So he gets up and does them and she tells me all about how since she had the surgery he has been babying her. Gets up in the morning and makes her coffee. Does the dishes. Makes sure she has everything she needs. I am sure they havnt always been happy but they worked through it and love each other now after 70 years of marriage then they did when they started.
They made me realize what marriage can be. That love can last your life time. And made me sad that I may not have someone to care for me when my body starts failing. Does love like that exist for my generation? I just dont know.
