Somewhat final closure - my divorce has been finalized wmessin: Well it's been quite some time since I've been on the boards which I'm not sure is a good or bad thing.
My divorce became final on October 15th and I was actually quite happy which is odd considering I wasn't the one who initiated the divorce and I was the one that had to deal with a cheating spouse. I guess in a way she made it easier for me to want to be freed from a person capable of violating our marriage in such a disgusting way.
In any event, I'm glad to be done with the whole process. Now I have 90 days to get her the cash that I owe to her based on the final divorce papers (yep, even in light of all the BS that she put me through, the state of Tennessee still sees me as the person who owes her something, even in light of the fact we have no kids).
In the meantime I've already gone through my transition "relationship" (if you can call it that). I've been dating around a bit but focusing on two people lately. I broke it off with one of them after seeing signs BS from her end and I simply want none of it right now. I'm in no position to have patience with BS in any form. So my focus now shifts to two other people I'm seeing, and both of them are probably the sweetest two women I've ever met in my life. That makes me very happy as it's exactly what the doctor ordered.
Anyway, I'll be back soon. Just wanted to give a quick update on my situation. It's time to finally begin the new chapter in my life.
