Re:Do you consider your marriage a success or a failure? Beren: I *feel* the way Kin does.
I *think* the way Tara does.
It seems like someone recently said something about the heart catching up to the head, and that it takes time. When that happens, it will be a good day.

Re:Do you consider your marriage a success or a failure? Kinney26: My answer isn't how I feel, it is what I think and feel.
10 years from now I am going to look back and say, yes my first marriage failed, but hopefully I will also be able to say that my second marriage has been a complete success so far. It is just my opinion, but I believe what is making us better people is learning from our mistakes and failures. We are learning what to do different next time because we did some things wrong this time. We are succeeding as people, but our marriages are dead.

Re:Do you consider your marriage a success or a failure? caringmom: I have to agree with Kin on this one. My marriage was definately a failure. I got wonderful kids out of it, which I wouldn't change that aspect of it at all. My kids are my life. However, yes the marriage did fail. I've learned alot from the marriage and hopefully the next can be a success. Good luck to everyone on this site with their next marriage.
Re:Do you consider your marriage a success or a failure? Shanna: I hate it being called a failure, BUT I do think I learned tons from my failed marriage.
Re:Do you consider your marriage a success or a failure? amess: I think of it as the union failed, but the people involved are not failures as people ( some might disagree ;D), they were just wrong for eachother. It hurts to think of it as a failure, but that is a part of the hurt we all have to get through, hopefully learn from, and go out and make a success.
