You would think they would be done hurting us but it is like they cannot stop! Take it all away from us and watch us suffer. I really think my S2BX is enjoying the pain he has caused me.

My stbx actually had her parents participate in her leaving me suddenly. It is said that our marriage was important to them. Funny how I never knew about the breakup from them BEFORE it happened. I guess I can understand it from her, but, from them?
I guess it says a bit about them if they only took "her side" on an issue as universally important as marriage. "Who gives this woman in marriage to this man?" -- I guess not them.
Of course, anything can be forgiven.
Re: inlaws niceguy: I'm going through the same thing with the S2BX inlaws. They both tell me they love me, I'll always be there son in law. They are constantly offering support and my mom and her mom are still trying to make their frienship work. My sister and her sister still go out togther. I really don't know how to handle this. I think at some point in order that we all move on we need to drift apart. I really enjoyed her family, this weekend was hard because we always went to her parents house. My whole family actually started going over for holidays. Her mother is so upset. She thinks her daughter is making a big mistake, but can't tell her for fear of losing contact.
