See if others you know can recommend a good attorney. You don't want to get someone that is really cheap but then can't get the job done for you. I don't know what state you're in but in Indiana I could have made him pay my attorney fees. My ex sister-in-law did that.
So many of us on here can relate to what just happened to you. It's an awful, awful feeling but at least you know and can now start moving forward. It will be a tough road but you'll be o.k. Keep coming here for support -- it's what we're here for.

Re:MY LIFE JUST FELL APART TONIGHT!!! Shanna: I have been a stay at home mom since 2001. And my STBXH cheated. I know all the feelings you are having...I had them, too. It does get better. I still cry bc I know my kids won't have their parents together or a full time stay at home Mom, but they will have a happier home and that isn't something we would have given them. If you need me I am here.
Re:MY LIFE JUST FELL APART TONIGHT!!! timetobefree: HUGS to you. I am sorry...I really am, because we can all relate to how horrible it is. But now you know and can start moving forward. You can do this...I know you can!
As for attorneys, I also highly suggest finding someone with a free consultation. I was so upset when I went to see someone that I didn't do that, paid $200 to talk to him, and didn't even end up using him. I don't know about you, but I certainly could have used that money for something else! Do shop around though, because for me, dissolutions ranged from $675 to over $2500. So there was certainly a big range in fees.
Take care and hang in there...sending you positive vibes!

Re:MY LIFE JUST FELL APART TONIGHT!!! dj: Aw Angel, I'm so sorry. What your husband is doing is just downright terrible...to you and your kids. Why don't they (the cheaters) understand that what they are doing ISN'T good for the kids, there are better ways to get out.
There should be several lawyers down there that can help you in your situation. If nothing else check with Legal Aid, although I'm not sure exactly how "good" they are. Do a google search on Mn Divorce Lawyers and you may find a site that can help.
