Contacting children Marb_Man: So how long should the s2bxw go without calling her kids should it be once a week? twice a week? I just want to get an idea of this from everyone else. That way I know when to really start making this an issue. If I was living on the other side of the state I would call at least 2 to 3 times a week and talk to my children. What should she be doing?

First of all...I never would've left my kids....OK. sorry that wasn't the question. I would think that she sould call, realistically, 3-4 times a week. They're young, so the converation doesn't need to be hours, as a mother, i would call at least once a day, after all, she isn't divorcing them...or is she? Do you have her phone number?
I just don't get it, ... Thank God the boys have you. I think of you and your situation so often. I try to see her side of it, but can not! Feeling those babies inside of you and going through the pain of labor, and seeing the miracle of childbirth...i just can't grasp what or why she would do that.

Re: Contacting children Marb_Man: I told her in our argument yesterday. It is not my responsibility to pick up the phone and ever dial her. If she wants to talk with the kids she can call them. She went out and bought a phone card finally. For the kids mental sake I would have bought her a cell phone if Thats what it would have took to keep these kids feeling unwanted by her. When my son is older and more responsible I will buy him a phone so he may call her. For now I am paying for everything. She could at least foot the long distance charge.I didnt tell her to move 300 miles away ::)
