I think we all need to be friends with our children so they are not afraid to confide in us their feelings. I have found a good medium for being both a parent and a friend. But when it comes down to it with the boys unfortunatly I find myself pulling my hair out trying to keep the peace LOL

Iknow what you mean...being judge jury and grand arbitrator gets pretty darned tiring most days. Its hard to establish a nice solid relationship and foundation for future friendship when it takes every minute of your day to keep them from killing each other.
